Virginia State University

UpTime Solutions Professional Services Group was tasked by Virginia State University to enhance the existing video surveillance capabilities for on campus security. Considering the fact that over 400 surveillance cameras from different manufactures exist this was a task that could have been overwhelming. With a limited budget and future resource cuts coming in the following years, UpTime Solutions PSG decided to deploy what may be considered one of the best video surveillance platforms on the market today.

UpTime Solutions has provided Virginia State University with a state of the art IP Video Surveillance platform. This open architecture non proprietary platform will support virtually any IP camera and/or encoder on the market allowing for the use of off the shelf hardware and facilitates the integration of new technologies. As the convergence of physical security and traditional IT applications continue to evolve, security professionals require a new set of tools to help facilitate seamless integration and implementation of legacy and new applications across the enterprise.

This truly innovative IP solution will provide unmatched functionality, scalability, and lower the total cost of ownership required to meet the 20/20 goals for campus security at VSU.

Land America Financial Group

UpTime Solutions Professional Group provided systems integration services for the design and installation of a Cisco IP Telephony phone system. The system was integrated into the date network as a Voice Over IP communication system and supported features such as mobility, unified messaging, softphone, attendant console and call center applications. The initial implementation was staged and deployed around a physical office relocation project and was and integral component in the relocation plan. The new IPT system was integrated with the existing Avaya PBX during the relocation project and eventually took over as the primary voice services platform. Additionally UpTime Solutions provided systems integration and support services for the expansion to approximately 20 remote locations over the course of 18-24 months.

Southern States Cooperative

Design and deploy 1200 user Cisco Unified Communication system at their headquarters and several remote sites as replacement for their existing Nortel PBX. One of the unique challenges of this deployment was installing multiple department call centers as well as a 1000 user Unified Messaging platform. UpTime Solutions continues to provide managed services for Southern States.
