Mark Mann, CEO
Mark is the principal owner of Uptime Solutions and his primary responsibility is to generate business opportunities for the company. He manages relationships for many of the manufacturers the Company represents, as well as primary distributors. He initiates marketing strategies and seeks to build solid long-term business relationships with current and prospective customers. Mark’s role in the Company has evolved from what was initially a technical and operational role to that of a sales role. Mark has been in the IT industry for over 25 years and has headed network integration divisions for two competitors, Keiter Stephens Computer Services (now Comsys), and more recently as vice president of network integration services for NTS, a Richmond systems integrator. He obtained his BA degree in journalism from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and was on active duty in the Army from 1983 to 1989.
Jake Magarity, President
Jake has primary responsibilities in the sales and business development areas of the company. With over 25 years of experience in Telecommunications and Networking, Jake was the founder and owner of NET Telcos. NET Telcos provided Disaster Recovery, managed services (such as Hosting and Back-up), and firewall services to customers such as Room Store, ETHYL, and Toyota. At the time of its sale to Landmark Communications, NET Telcos was the largest independent ISP and managed hosting facility in Virginia and the largest Virginia-based carrier-neutral integrator. Previously, Jake had worked for Cisco Systems. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing and communications from West Chester University (Philadelphia, PA).
