Executive TeamMark Mann, President and CEOMark Mann is a US Army veteran and one of the founding members of UpTime Solutions PSG and has over 20 years of experience in the information technology industry – working for companies such as Hamilton Beach - Proctor Silex, Keiter Stephens, and EDS. As President and CEO he is responsible for building key business partner and client relationships while setting the overall strategy of the business. Providing daily leadership and direction that will ultimately lead to profitability of UpTime Solutions Professional Services Group is a consistent goal. Serving the client first and doing it right the first time is the ultimate core value that stands out as his number one priority. Mark has a BA Degree in Broadcast Journalism and Communications from the University of Arkansas Fayetteville. Baron Wright, Vice President/ PrincipalBaron has over 16 years of combined technical, IT consulting and managerial experience within the IT industry. Baron earned a B.S. degree in Information Technology from Virginia Commonwealth University. Baron has worked in the IT industry as both a corporate IT leader and IT consultant which provides unique perspective to his role today. Baron was the Infrastructure Director for Saxon Mortgage and over the years has obtained specializations and certifications from Cisco, Novell, Microsoft and Citrix. Baron has been heavily involved in our Cisco unified communications practice and today Baron leads the company's business development and technical groups. Baron has a diverse set of technical skill and is active during the design and implementation process. Some of his certifications are noted below.
Jim Sheridan, CFO and PrincipalJim offers a diverse background and over 25 years of financial and managerial experience. He has worked in a variety of settings including, not-for-profit, large public, and small, privately-held companies. Jim has a significant amount of experience managing business operations. Some of his areas of knowledge and expertise include corporate financial accounting, business strategy, risk management, budgeting and forecasting, contract management and negotiation, operational and financial analysis, benefits and payroll, and cash/credit management. Jim has a significant amount of contract management experience in the Government sector. During his tenure at Hazleton/Corning, Inc. from 1988 to 1993, Jim was active in the management of U.S. Government and Military contracts there. Also, during his employment with NRECA in Washington, DC from 1984 to 1988, he managed and handled the accounting for various U.S. Government grants and contracts under the International Programs Division there. Jim is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). He holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park. Tim Whittaker, Senior Technical Lead and PrincipalTim’s primary responsibility is to develop and design technical solutions for new projects. Tim also has primary responsibilities for several of our major client accounts and has led some of the larger Unified Communications projects delivered by Uptime Solutions. Tim’s spent several years in the U.S. Marine Corps as an information systems coordinator and worked as a senior network engineer for SunCom. Tim is an exceptional engineer and has mastered several areas of specialization including unified communications, security and wireless. Tim provides a major portion of the engineering guidance and technical training to other engineers on staff. Some of Tim’s certifications are noted below.
