History
UpTime Solutions Professional Services Group was formed in April of 2003 by Mark Mann, Baron Wright, and Tim Whittaker. Baron, Tim and Mark were working for a local competitor in the technology industry. This employer wanted to continue in the mid to low level technologies of PC and server repair. This was fine for most folks but being technical engineers made Mark, Baron, and Tim want to find out why something was broken and how to stop it from happening again. This curiosity along with Baron wanting to take on the challenge of Cisco’s IP Telephony technologies now commonly known as Unified Communications is what ultimately led these three to explore new technology and venture out to start UpTime Solutions Professional Services Group.
Shortly thereafter, Jim Sheridan, who is the current CFO, came on board.
As time passed we continued to grow at a rapid pace with Cisco IP Telephony as our core business.
Cisco technologies have been a core business line of products for UpTime now for the past 6 years. We have expanded into other product and service offerings as well including logical and physical security, biometric technologies, and video surveillance.
We continue to service the Richmond market place as our home however, due to our growth and federal government certification as an 8(a) firm, we are now capable of servicing clients just about anywhere at anytime.
